Description

The listing, Preschool Lot-FREE shipping has ended.

I am a prior preschool teacher and before and after school teacher that is now working on my degree in psychology. I have spent the last couple years doing private preschool prep for military families after the army relocated us away from my jobs as a preschool teacher and before and after school teacher. I have many years experience teaching children as well as experience in creating a curriculum specifically for ages 4 and 5. I will be using my experience to fill a medium-sized flat rate box with various crafts, activities, reward stickers, coloring books, a brand new package of "happy birthday" hats, and several other learning tools. This lot is great for the mother, father, or grandparent that wants to help get their child a head-start before Kindergarten. Kindergarten teachers have much higher expectations these days, so why not give your child a great start on what to expect when they start school? The activities I will provide will help your child to work on his or her fine motor skills. I also have a few gender-specific things that I will add to the box so the winner will just need to notify me on if this will be for a girl or boy. If the bids reach 15,000 I will change it to a large flat rate box and will add in a children's DVD that has educational value, a game, a surprise gift for your little one, flashcards, and much more. Comes from a smoke-free home. All Listia rules apply. Happy Bidding!

If you win, this will greatly assist him in preparing for Kindergarten. In this box I also include a list of ideas of learning activities to do with your young one that we do not always think of. As a preschool teacher, I would get together with all the other teachers each month and we would collaborate to bounce new ideas off each other. The results were always superb and I love to share my training with others.

You can't now that people have bid. You will have to do GIN before people begin bidding. When you are listing the starting bid you can put GIN price. However, you the seller have to pay in points to list a GIN price when it opens and a lot more points when it closes.

Thanks for the info :) I do not mind doing Gin in future auctions if there are serious buyers.

Oh, I love this idea! I hope to win this for my little girl who is 3. I am going to start homeschooling next month & would love to give my little girl a headstart. I am also homeschooling a 3rd grader & 8th grader. My 3 year old is a leftie! The only one out of 4 to be lefthanded. I am somewhat concerned on how I will teach her writing skills as I am not left handed.. Do you have any tips? I am sure you have probably ran into this in your field of work..

Thank you and good luck :) Here is my advice on how to teach your leftie how to write:
Purchase supplies that are specifically made for left-handed children. For example, you can purchase children’s scissors that are made specifically for left-handed individuals. Make sure that she has plenty of room on her left side to move her arm. Teach her to “pinch” the pencil between her thumb and forefinger. It is recommended that children be taught to hold a pencil approximately 1 to 1.5 inches from the tip. Place a mark on the pencil to indicate where she should grip it. Tilt the paper so that the top right corner of the paper points up. Teach her to keep her writing hand below the writing line when writing. The goal is to make sure that her hand does not block what she writes. This technique will keep her wrist from bending into a “hooked” position. Draw a colored line down the left-side of the paper to help her orient the left-right direction that writing should follow. Left-handed children struggle with writing from left to right and may engage in mirror writing. Provide her with a correctly formatted writing example to copy. If mirroring problems continue, provide her with a tracing exercise where she traces over correctly formatted letters and numbers. Hope this helps!
