E-gift cards usually means a gift card with a bar code, it is same as a regular card
only on paper, it can be scan at the checkout(this applies mostly to physical/real retail stores), although some other stores(mostly online stores without a physical stores) have the card without the bar code, but with a specific code to be entered at the check out. Mine is a e-gift card ...hopefully......Walmart e-card services doesn't shut down as it did not long ago for about a month.
