Approximately 10 dots were used before my husband "found the coolest glue dot thing ever" when I asked him to pick up a specific adhesive refill at a local craft store. He was so excited about his "find" that I didn't have the heart to tell him I didn't need another, although different, glue dot dispenser, so this one needs to find another home quick!
