it is for prepaid or for contract if you want it prepaid all you do is go buy a card.. if you want contract you call t-mobile and set it up for contract which it is not recommended since it is so much cheaper to do it prepaid. :D

because the photo of both the box and receipt are too small to see the phones model name and i want to see the specs for the phone....cant do that without the model # or tne phones name at least.
