This Math Reading Paperback Book has not been read or used.

The cell calculator worked the last time I inserted the batteries to check it. The book has slight shelf wear. Otherwise this set is in good condition. The cell phone calculator & the separate batteries are in the original box with a tiny instruction sheet.

Informational book is titled: "Math = Fun From Addition to Multiplication" by Jerry Pallotta from Scholastic.

Book includes instruction with colorful pictures for the following specifics:

Sets, Multiplication Tables, Multiplication Grids & Arrays,
& Factors in Parentheses.

Calculator is in the form of a flip cell phone & may have been used once or twice.

This is helpful to a wide range of elementary grades in that it can be used to introduce, learn, understand &/or review the math concepts covered. It is not a workbook, but a fun informational book.

I didn't find info on a specific grade assigned to it, but this may be used as an introduction to 1st or 2nd graders. For 3rd or 4th graders it is helpful in learning, visualizing & understanding math concepts. Even 5th graders may find the colorful book a helpful review.

This book begins with counting on one page, then covers counting / adding sets on 2 pages, & uses place value & multiplication throughout the rest of the book. The multiplication table is included & by the end of the book, multiplication of up to a 4 digit # with a 1 digit # as well as carrying is included.
