The listing, Blue and white bracelet has ended.
Blue glass and white stone beads grace this woman's bracelet. The white stone is Authentic Oklahoma Flint personally removed from the Illinois River in my backyard, cut, tumbled, drilled and strung on gold-tone wire..
I have over 100 pounds of tumbled stones suitable for jewelry. Some of them have been drilled as beads and others have been drilled as pendants. Do you think that there would be a market for them here on Listia?
Oh, heck yeah! :) There are tons of folks on here who make jewelry. I don't yet, but plan to start. Years ago, I used to restring necklaces, but I mainly worked with glass beads. Now I want to try making different things.
I get enthused looking at jewelry made from the art-clay material. The clay contains metal of one sort or another, and the clay is manipulated, then fired at 2000 degrees for about 10 minutes. The metal fuses and the clay forms a shell around it which is broken away to reveal the metal piece.
The silver art clay costs about $65 for a 15 gram package. There is also a gold, bronze and copper. I may dabble in that after I get our backlog of items to list worked down.
yes we want tumbled stones !!!!!!!!!!! especially the drilled ones or even tne ones for pendants that we can wrap with wire. list them please of send pics to me at queenkhalilah@gmail.com
