It was used from when it was new, until 11 months ago... Stored in a cool dry place, then formatted and listed here. Unaware of when it was purchased, believed to be new..

Will it work with my mac book air it wasnt made with a hard drive and i was looking iin to buying the superdrive but this has more storage space

I am unaware if it will work with Mac's...I've never owned a Mac, or any Apple product so I will say no to be on the safe side. A Google search may say differently. Good luck!
