This is a scale that is ONLYmeant to weigh jewelry,Gold ,Silver etc like that.Def not for packages BUT VERY CONVIENENT if you go to yard sales and garage sales to buy precious metals.Nice item!

SCALE USED FOR MAILING INFO:
This digital hand scale will weigh up to 500 grams.
500 grams = 1.10231131 pounds
or
500 grams = 17.636981 ounces
so
You CAN use this scale for mailings, BUT it will only weigh a little more than a pound at one time! Hope this helps. Good luck bidding!! =]
