The listing, Apple iPod Touch 3rd Gen MC086LL A1288 8GB has ended.

No GIN so everyone has a chance. Up for sale is a iPod Touch. The back isn't in the greatest condition as most ipods. The digitizer is fully responsive, and glass is in great condition. I put a screen protector on, but im terrible at it so there is a few bubbles. You can choose to pull it off and put another one on there, I went through maybe 3 and gave up trying to make it perfect hah. I tested it to play music and sync with itunes. Speaker works, both right and left come through great on the 3.5mm jack. Wifi and tilt works. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Did you wipe off the screen before putting the screen protector on? If not, there could be dust on it forming the air pockets :P. It happened to me when I was putting one on my Vita.

Yeah I wiped it, though i always put it on not perfect the pull up then re-attatch, and i end up messing it up anyway, im just bad at it.

2nd gen and 3rd gen are exactly the same except the year the "3rd gen" was released they didn't make 8gb, so it is classified as 2nd. :)

Cool auction, btw; there is no such thing as a 8gb 3rd gen iPod touch. Originally apple did market an 8gb 3rd gen but slowly stopped supporting it and only allowed the newer updates to Goto 16/32gb's, so the only true 3rd gens are 16/32gb's.
