Description

The listing, (3) three collectible vintage / rare cigarette tobacco lighters USE GIN FOR BONUS ZIPPO LIGHTER!!!! has ended.

Up for auction are three vintage 1930's to 1950's tobacco pipe cigar cigarette lighters. The first lighter is vintage 1940's-1950's. It is an occupied Japan piece made during the American occupation of Japan after World War II, from 1947 to 1952.

The elephant table lighter is silver / pewter colored and never been fired. It has the elephant trunk up which, is a symbol of good luck, fortune, and basically optimistic. See condition from pictures.

The second lighter is a vintage 1930's advertising capsule / tube / bullet style pocket lighter for a coal company in Sheridan, WY. Made by Redilite (by Brown & Bigelow). Founded in 1896 in St. Paul Minnesota. B & B were important makers of advertising lighters and commissioned works by well known artists such as Norman Rockwell, Gil Elvgren, and others.

This lighter has also never been fired. It dates from the 1930's, just look at the phone number...TWO WHOPPING DIGITS!!!! As you can see from the pictures, there has been some wear on the enamel. The cap that covers the flint mechanism is not present.

The third lighter is a real nice vintage 1940's Ronson "Crown" tabletop cigarette / tobacco lighter. Silverplated, great piece for tobacco enthusiasts and antique collectors alike! Ronson Crown is the most popular and probably the longest produced Ronson table lighter ever. It was first manufactured in 1936. This one has a flat top snuffer cap and was produced from 1949 till 1954. This is a working lighter just needs fluid and flint!!!

You can see from the pictures, it is well used and shows signs of the silver plating coming off but overall, nice for being almost 70 years old.

IF GIN IS USED, I WILL ALSO INCLUDE A CIRCA EARLY 2000's [discontinued] ZIPPO LIGHTER WITH "POLICE" DESIGN. (See picture) The Zippo is brand new, never even had fluid put in it!!!

As always, free shipping!!! Good luck bidding and thanks for stopping by!!!

If the auction doesn't go, I would consider a reasonable offer but right now, it will have to wait until the auction is over.

Its really a cool lighter, if the auction does not go, I would consider an offer or I could list it separately but for now it will have to wait until the auction is over to be fair to everyone else.

Dude, you really should separate the elephant lighter into it's own auction. If you do, I'd seriously recommend making sure to put the word "Republican" in the name of the listing.

Yeah, I know it wasn't made as a piece of Republican memorabilia, but Republican's will want this, trust me. Of course in the body of the listing say that it's not officially Republican memorabilia, but they will still want it.

I don't have near enough credits to bid on these, but saw picture and seriously all three of these lighters you got are GORGEOUS!!!! And just wanted to get closer look at them.

Yeah if I put Republican in the description, all those Democrats wouldn't bid...gotta keep it fair for all!!! LOL

Thanks for the compliment on the batch of lighters, they are pretty cool, another one of my many "collections" that just never get displayed or appreciated. A few have asked me to list the elephant separately so if this does not go, I might have to take your advice and list it separately or I might combine all the animal lighters and put them up together that way.

I'm going to be listing some of my collection of 100+ lighters and I got a bunch of animal lighters and I think I actually have a donkey lighter...make it a politician's auction...lol

Thanks for stopping by and if you do bid, good luck!
