Just asking cause currently don't have enough to bid and having twin boys so looking for lots of clothes and usually avoid bidding on anything that's starts out over 500 because they do shoot up so quickly.

Not always, it depends on amount of items, and the demand for that item I'm bidding on a lot that is bigger than this one and has less days left and is currently at 8 and another that is currently at 606. Starting at a lower amount can get you more bidders because they feel they have a chance. I've seen single sleepers go for well over 2,000 when they started out at 1 depends on who see's it and how willing to fight for it they are.
