You are bidding on a Reprint Card of the World Famous 1909 Piedmont Tobacco T-206 Honus Wagner Baseball Card. This reprint card is in Mint condition.

Honus Wagner, who played shortstop for the Pittsburgh Pirates, was one of the five original inductees into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Wagner batted over .300 in 17 consecutive seasons and was the National League batting champion eight times.

Why is the 1909 Honus Wagner baseball card so valuable? The earliest baseball cards were produced and distributed by tobacco companies, and according to legend, the Honus Wagner card was pulled from the American Tobacco Company's 1909 set due to Wagner's objection to the use of his image for the promotion of tobacco products.

You list a shipping charge higher than the cost of shipping. You can get banned from Listia for doing that. A single card in a top loader can be mailed for 46 cents. Great customer service does not justify a higher shipping charge..

I'm new to listia and just learning the best practices here. $1 for shipping seems reasonable to me. Yes it is more than the cost of a stamp but I provide great customer service. I do combine shipping as well but right now I don't have many cards listed to do this.

Most winners expect to have a tracking number - that is about $2.09 to ship. The rest of you need to back off - 34 cents is not making a profit once you add in the price of the envelope and handling (Listia allows this). You will NOT get banned from Listia for just a $1.00 shipping charge!

@alvieroach and @rick364, where are you when people are charging $90.00 to ship an iPod 4th generation - Now that is excessive shipping!!!
