I've heard it takes Ph.D.s in quantum physics and artificial intelligence to program these things. Is that why you're getting rid of it? Seriously. Because the stress of figuring out how to hook up the surround sound shaved 3 years off my life. I would love a remote like this, but if I have to call The Geek Squad every time it needs new batteries I might as well just poke my TV buttons with a long stick.

Actually, I thought it would be harder to get this remote to control my TV, Stereo, CD, DVD. But the website walked me through the set up. I understand your hesitation though. Since I switched back to Direct TV, I don't use this anymore.
I would go to the Logitech.com website and look at the Logitech - Harmony 650 Universal Remote Control. This might help you with instructions for setup. I do not have the box or paperwork that came with remote, so this is where I would suggest anyone go for programing instructions anyway. Thanks
