it wont turn on but like i been syng i dont know anyhting about these cameras i was just giving this and have no use for it so i put it up as is the picture is what u get

This looks like a Canon Rebel X (35mm film).

Radioguy, if you'd like to confirm this is that what it says on the front of the camera. It looks like the ESO Rebel X (ESO and Rebel in White and X in Red).

Currently, there are over a hundred of them on ebay. Though listed at all price levels, ones with the strap and single lens get bites up to about $10 then seem to go cold.

Canons are built fairly solid so it's probably in working order but would need a new battery if it was just sitting around. The EOS series is all SLR so if you're looking for a decent 35mm SLR camera... then this should work out for you if you can win it low enough. Good luck bidders.
