"diamond girl" an original, one of a kind drawing by local new orleans artist, patricia g. murry, my mom. the measurements are 11 x 17. this is truly a "first" of its kind, never has my mom given one of her drawings to anyone except family members. who ever wins this beautiful drawing will be truly lucky, this could be the first and last to leave our family. she specializes in southern ladies, angels and plantations. my mother has been truly blessed as an artist. she wanted to help me out with points for christmas, so she drew this picture especially for listia, thanks mom, this auction is for the drawing only, the picture mat in photo #2 is just to show you how it will look with a mat. also, feel free to comment my mom would love to hear from you. so good luck and bid, bid, bid !!! this drawing would make an awsome gift, think christmas, ho, ho, ho !!!!

Aww you are most welcome and was happy to friend you :) You can check out my daughter through my page-Ciana Jordan She is also doing all of the artwork for my business and did the main logo. My favorite thus far is the Mad Hatter pic she did for me :) She has also done some work for her favorite bands that she personally gave to them and a nationwide scooter club and is hoping to make a career in art, just not sure what yet, lol I hope your mom gets more exposure too, she also has a talent for art :)

I will definately check out her work, it sounds like she is very talented. My 24 year old son is also very talented, but doesen't do much drawing anymore. He was in the gifted and talented art program in school. Hopefully he will start drawing again soon. This is great exposure for my Mom and will hopefully give her more confidence in her work. I'm going to take photos of some of her work and post them on Facebook, soon, so everyone can see her talent. Thanks again so much.
