The listing, Very Collectable! - Pre-war 1936, Spencer Binding style copy of " Essays Of Ralph Waldo Emerson " has ended.
This is a wonderful book collector's item. It is The Essays Of Ralph Waldo Emerson and is fashioned after the renowned Book Binder/Maker, Spencer. It was published & made by the well known hand-binder, Mountenay in 1936, just before World War II. It is rough on the binding outer edge but the pages & shell are in very good condition. It is fashioned professionally after the Spencer style of binding, whom was one of the A-list victims of the sinking of the Titanic and who's books trade for thousands of dollars!. Very unique item & very collectable :)) note: book will be packed safely & securly
