I never heard of them before. I do have stuff I grow plants in that swells up but I know you can buy animals that swell up. My kids had them But you can make designs and do a lot wiith them . They are neat

on the shipping issue, if you put them in a small 4x6 bubble mailer... even with DC if you sent it first class it would be $1.41 :) hope that helps

I am going through a dispute with a listia member now for this exact same thing!
They can't go into the sorter at the post office and that means it costs more to send them.

They will get ripped by the machine sorter at the post office. They can not be shipped with a 44 cent stamp.
