The listing, STERLING SILVER MOP ANTIQUE MOTHER OF PEARL BROOCH PIN ORNATE VINTAGE 1960 has ended.

Sterling Silver & Mother of pearl Brooch is aptly marked with the international symbol for Sterling silver "925"

There is a little carving of a flower in the center of this pin made of Mother of pearl,very delicate and precise work! This carving is not chipped nor is it cracked as you might see in many of these period pieces.

The item may have at one time had a loop for a chain at the top rear as there is a tiny nib there,but it is gone.Just to be used as a beautiful brooch now and the pin is affixed well,not loose in the least.

Thi item is in immaculate condition,very pretty just as in my photos and about the size of a USA Half Dollar.

W&F always. This is such a beautiful piece. I just love vintage articles like this. I admired one very similar to this when I was a child at my neighbors store. She wanted $175.00 for it. That was in 1971. Wish I could bid. Keep spreading the love. :-)
