Questions & Comments
I think what you have is water hyacinth not water lily. Please check it out the flower is different. And the leaves look different from water lily too.
water grape hyacinth. Glad you got these, they are very interesting plants. Wished we were closer in distance.....cause I'm sure the plant would be broken up by the time the carrier gets the plant to me. Happy Flowering..!
NO, im sure that they will be okay..look at the photo they are small babies that float on the water..so they will not be damaged at all..i have sent many plants via mail..so if you want th em :))) bid away. bcs whoever wins will get a good amount! Thanks:)))
It is actually very easy to send plants by mail. You just put the root part on a damp paper towel, lightly sprinkle with dirt, wrap the paper towel up from the bottom and around so no dirt spills out, put it in a cheap plastic sandwich baggie so the damp paper towel doesn't get the envelope wet, and mail first class using paypal postage. You automatically get delivery confirmation so you know your package arrived to the customer, first class only takes 3-5 days, write "live plant" on the front of the envelope if you want, or just write "fragile, do not bend" and the plant will get to the person safe and sound, still alive and thriving. This is how I ship the plants I sell. It works great, doesn't take long to do, and you don't have to worry about the person calling you or emailing you and saying that your plant died. Lol
I have a large pond ( more like a small lake... lol ) and you called these water lilies. Can these grow in the pond, or is that just the name of them? Because some plants are just named pretty names, others actually live up to their name. I didn't know which was the case here.
