u can actually unlock this computer in most cases by creating a system restore point or making a password recovery disk the second option is easier since there is usually a menu for it on the password screen Compaq also have the ability to creat system restore points from the cmos as well that usualy will delete old password and allow u to set ur own.. most any tech can fix this issue within minutes usually if u can't so who ever wins good luck.. just thought is give some friendly advice..
