I could be wrong, but i think they might be silver plate, if they are it will say silver plate on the back. are they salad forks or full size dinner forks.

Yes Rogers and sons never made sterling dinnerware. They look like the remembrance style. One of the most collectible sets.

they have no silver plate on them got them from little old lady said they were silver

went on line to find this I really think its sterling silver if anyone finds out different please let me know if it is plated for as old as it is it looks fantastic thanks everyone

if they aren't marked sterling or .925 they are indeed plated

I tried to smell them cant tell I know a magnet doesnt stick to them little old lady I got them from said they were silver patented in 1910

they are very pretty! love the details at the base of the tines. gorgeous. too bad cant be made into ring like sometimes done with spoons. very kind of you to continue to post info you had clearly stated multiple times, btw. lol. good luck and God bless!

rogers kind of invented the heavy plate. they are not sterling if they say rogers. why don't you think you can make rings out of forks? I always use sterling but I have made them out of forks, spoons, knives. some people make them out of plate but I have no idea how they do it. most is too heavy to bend and if you heat it you ruin it.
