This is a gorgeous, hand-assembled chainmail necklace using the time-honored Byzantine weave. The necklace is 28 inches long, made from 6mm gold-plated jump rings. The necklace is a continuous loop, so no clasp is necessary.

This necklace is equally suited to both men and women.

Free shipping to the US. I reuse/recycle packing/shipping material whenever possible.

There is a lot of work to make these. I have set and watch my son make chain mall for Midevil events. He never made gold plated though. This is beautiful and takes patience

If your son is making maille for medieval re-enactments and renaissance faires, then he has all of the skills for making these kinds of necklaces with sterling silver and gold-plated/gold-filled rings. B)
