You don't need anything fancy or expensive. We use a food scale, and that works just fine! Also according to MaggieAnderson's comment, you can get a DYMO scale at WalMart for about $23.00. That one weighs up to 3 pounds. It all depends on how big or how small your items are that you need to weigh for postage. Thanks for your comment! :D

Wal-Mart has scales all the way up to $135.00 but for us Listian's I think the smaller one works good. There have been a couple of times that I would have liked to have had one that went to 10 pounds but I do fine with the 3 pound one.
