I will have another I can post in about a week. On the first of August we will be going to our free school supplies, which includes a backpack. Neither of my girls will be using theirs, so I can list one of them. I can say though, it will most likely be a generic backpack with no characters on it. It's rare that we manage to get one of the "cool" bags from the program.

I plan to check my other daughter's bag from last year. She had a messenger bag style backpack with Monster High on it. If it's still in good condition, I will list that one. I just haven't gotten to looking at her's yet lol.

They do! But with backpacks, I figure it's the one thing I can do. This school year we won't be able to afford new clothes and shoes, so I used some leftover grocery money to buy them the new backpacks they really wanted.

As for my rules, it's sad but I had to create them. You wouldn't believe the number of people who have tried the "well, your auction didn't say my address had to be verified" or "hey it's been 2 days why haven't you shipped yet??". I still get those emails, but now I can just say "go read the auction for more details".

I know i have had people bid on 1 of my auctions and win it , this makes the 3rd time that somebody has won 1 of my auctions, the same auction , 3 x's. And they say oh, i can't pay the shipping so you will have to re list it, . thats why i said i need to put rules up on my auctions. lol , Is it that they don't know how to read or what ? !!!

Some people just don't read it all. I've had people win my auctions since I started posting my rules, and they still didn't get it. I had one person win and not have a verified address. They had moved and Listia didn't recognize their new address. I gave them 2 weeks (instead of just 7 days). Finally I told her I was relisting, and she asked how to get her credits back. Told her she lost her credits when she failed to read my rules. We didn't have a dispute, she let it go. But still, it's not hard to read.

Though I have been known to do that. I've bid on auctions and not realized I had to pay auction. But I didn't throw a fit, just asked where to send the funds. If I couldn't pay with their payment method, I just took the loss as my own stupidity lol.

Feel free to use my own rules, and edit as needed for yourself :)

I have regular plain backpacks , would just like to get them a caracter one. The messenger type bag sounds like it would be good for my 10 yr old and this one would be good for my 9 yr old. It is hard to buy schoolthings every year. I know exactly where you coming from. I have 3 i have to buy for, Most the time my youngest girl wears my oldest girls clothes ,but now they are the same size so i have to get new clothes.

The messenger bag was used by my 10 year old last year! lol

And I know all about clothes. My 7 and 11 year old girls wear the same size (the 11 year old is TINY). So there has never been any hand me downs lol. Though we have handed clothes UP (the 11y.o. wasn't too happy to be wearing her 7y.o. sister's clothes lol)

I just dug out the messenger bag. Not sure if it's list worthy. I found a hole at the bottom, though it is only on the outer layer. It doesn't go all the way through. There is also a tear at the top handle (the one used to hang the bag on a hook, not the body strap). Again, doesn't go all the way through, and the strap is still attached. Other than that, it's in pretty good condition. Just shows signs of being previously used.

Let me know if you would still be interested and I'll list it later today. I won't be able to ship it until the 3rd though (erm, same day as this one LOL).

Whew I type up some long responses! LOL

Yes, my oldest wears her younger sister's clothes lol. It's funny because I have a rule about laundry. They have to tell me before dinner time if they need clothes washed for the next day. If they tell me afterwards, then they have to either ask their sister to borrow clothes or wear dirty clothes (yep, I give them that choice lol). For some reason Tori (11 y.o) seems to wait until it's too late to tell me, so she has to borrow from her sister haha.

does the bad smell like smoke, I know you are an indoor smoker, but... well I was raised by my mom, an indoor smoker, but our stuff always smelled nice. then stayed a few weeks at my dads... his stuff smelled like smoke... I guess it just depends.

It does vary from smoker to smoker. If a smoker goes through a pack a day, things will smell *better* than from a person who smokes, say, 2 packs a day.

I do not notice a smoke smell to them. And I say that while knowing at the end of the day, I can smell it on my own shirt. The bag in this auction smells like clean laundry, as it was in my laundry room. The messenger bag, well, it doesn't have any distinct smell to it as it was still in the 11 year old's room lol.

And I definitely don't smoke in the children's room. I'm usually either sitting at the kitchen window or front door. That way it can circulate outside a little, and not so much in the house. And I definitely don't smoke in my laundry room. It's small and closed in (has a door to the room, and also leads out the back door). My clean clothes are in there, so don't want cigarette smoke lingering on them! It's one thing for me to smell like a cigarette, but can't send my kids to school like that! Or my husband to work smelling like an ashtray lol (which is what would happen if I smoked in that tiny room with no air to circulate around).

Once I finish prepping dinner, I will be listing the messenger bag. I figure my daughter won't be using it this year, so won't hurt to pass it on. And if no one bids on it, well, won't hurt my feelings none lol.
