I got some pumpkin seeds this year. It's my first time growing pumpkins. The vines are huge. I was shocked by how beautiful the bright yellow star shaped flowers are. My son measured and the leaves are about 15" across. I thought they would grow along the fence, but one of my pumpkin plants has climbed over the fence and up the neighbors tree. I don't know how a big heavy pumpkin plans to grow dangling up in a tree. I have really enjoyed growing these pumpkins. They do take a lot of room. Also, Mr. Google says to water the roots, not the leaves.
yea they grow on trees ive had one that was about 35 pound grow on a tree and it was just hangin there , these are very little pumkins and they dont grow a lot
ok , I'm being brave(gulp!) I'm bidding! Lol!! Hope these are ok in New England! (And my thumb is blue, but I'll try!!) You'd better tell me how to grow these things! haha!!I did have a big squash plant one year!!
the flowers are yellow, the vines will get to about 15ft long the most they are not that big , idk if they would be big by then chances are they will mature in thanksgiving.
