-This item is very pretty but I ordered it on ebay and i am petite and it is to big for me

I was actually in Micanopy, before it became famous, ( Doc Hollywood ). Last time I was there, I barely recognized the town.

It used to be the kind of sweet little place where the kids ran loose until the lightening bugs came out. And, if you did something wrong, your parents knew about it before you got home. Everybody knew everybody. We kept "free-range" chickens. Didn't intend to, they just found ways out of the pens. I remember us getting calls from someone on the other side of town, telling us our chickens were in their yard. I don't get the impression it's like that, anymore. I would love someone to tell me about a place that is. It's too dangerous these days to let children run loose like we did.

You are right, dearie. Jewelry makers are getting tricky these days! I bought a piece that was sold as .925 Sterling Silver, but the color looked off. I subjected it to the magnet test and sure enough, the magnet stuck- it was a fake! I looked at the marking on it closer. Yes, it said, 925 but without the decimal point before it which would indicate it was made of ,925 solid silver! The charlatans!! Try and see if a magnet will stick to it. It's not a foolproof test since not all base metals have a magnetic component, but if a magnet does stick, you can be certain it is costume jewelry. Not that there is anything wrong with costume, it still is a very pretty piece, but it's good to be aware. Best of luck, darling!

the magnet didnt stick! Plus the color is good I hope who ever gets this though really knows the meaning behind the cross I just wish it was smaller cause it doesnt look right on me :(
