Questions & Comments
Jesse....question...I have a Compaq Presario cq62....looking to speed it up a bit and plan om using the ss hybrid drive I got off ya for part of it....it's running Celeron. what could I get as far as ram and processor wise that it would support? never done laptop upgrades before...would this and the 4gb ram you have up work?
the ram would definately work with that laptop and would work well with the Hybrid, i'd honestly leave the processor alone though unless you plan on doing some major gaming, but if you want to upgrade the processor you would have to look up the specs and check what socket was in the cq62 to determine what your processor options are
oh, regarding the ram...I know the stick you have up is the exact type I need...I just know sometimes there are only certain sequences they can be used...pretty sure I have 2 slots, and believe I have either a 2 gig stick in, or two 1 gigs...and would want to use as much as possible of course... I have no clue what to do with laptop processors though
hmm.....I have no clue where to look on this. there are no service tags at all, only windows product key sticker. all I can tell is cq62 Celeron 2.19ghz/2.20ghz 2gb ram ...where Could I pull the model aside from that?
This will work fine for BF4 , I would suggest after installation if you win , to update your graphics drivers , and dedicate your memory directly to your graphics card
