hey hun, don't want to stomp on your toes, but a necklace can't be 9 1/4" :-) measure the length of the chain unhooked laying flat.

SO SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE****************
I couldn't do an actual update since the auction ends so soon but I measured the guy that made the comment about the length was very close!
From end to end it measures 20 inches long, I hope this helps everyone :)

A Pawn shop or your local jewelry store can weigh and test to get the answers. If it is true 24k, and is 68 pennyweight, it could be worth several thousand dollars and I'm pretty sure you won't get that for it here.

Wow well thank you for helping me out :) I appreciate it. I will def go get it checked first thing in the morning & give everyone an update :)

In order to estimate the value of your necklace, we need to know the fineness of the gold AND the precise weight. You did not provide a precise weight (68 what? grams? ounces? pennyweights?).
Also, 24K is a very unusual fineness for jewelry, since 24K (100% pure) gold is too soft for most jewelry uses.
