You know most of the junk they sell on TV is a pile of horse dung. If it DOES work it breaks right away. This little item isn't one those. This actually works, and it works quite well.All you do is plug the little box into a wall socket that's close to the light you want the switch to control. You then plug the lamp into the box. You can put the light switch anywhere you want, and that switch will control that light only. It works by wireless signal. No wiring at all!
The light switch is just put up with double-faced tape, so there's no holes in the wall, and you can move it any time you want. Quite simple, really!
I don't need this any longer, because I hardwired a light where I was using this.
