Questions & Comments
@llarrainne I saw your post on another auction for tapers.... since you haven't gauged before you start out with size 16 or 14 gauge then work your way down in numbers the smaller the number the bigger the gauge so after 14 to go up in size you'd go to a 12 gauge and as the auctioner posted the o rings are made specifically for that size gauge there is no way around it. you can't start with a size 2 or 4 gauge because even at the smallest point it wouldn't fit in your ear lobe and if you tried to force it you'd have what's called a blowout and tear your ear lobe I've known people who've done it and they needed plastic surgery on their ear afterward. so please take my advice and don't rush gauging is not just a fad it's an art and takes time and patience start with a 14 at most then slowly work your way to your desired size gauge and remember to give your ears time to heal in between gauges or you'll mess your ears up
Can you start out with any size and adjust the O ring every month or so .... So that I can use these or do I have to start out with a real tiny size and work up to these? I want these white ones no matter what....just trying to understand how to do it.
The o-ring that comes with the taper/plug is the one that only fits that size. If you have a smaller or bigger size gauge then that would require an o-ring for that size. You would have to start small then go big, that way you wont hurt your ears by ripping the lobe by trying to put a bigger size then you have in it. Hope this helped. :)
yeah, you really do not want to start below a 14.. like, I skipped around because I was cheap, but it was painful and I wouldn't recommend it. Also, those look more like zero's to me, but it might just be me, lol
