The only thing that i can tell you is that i used it one time and i could not figure it out to use it. You can use a much yarn as you would like. I youtube on how to make a scarf i tried it and it was to hard for me.

A friend of mine gave me some yarn some of is thick and some are thin, if i am making a hat take both ends and to make thick. I hope this helps

sorry I guess I did not ask right, you said in the discription, you had lot of yarn to go with the loom, tha is what I was trying to find out about, I have several looms and use them a lot. I was wondering how much yarn comes with the loom ?

6 yarn comes with and also lg and sm round looms. I use the medium to make to hats for grandbabies
