The listing, WWII nurse's watch has ended.

This was my mother's watch as she was a battlefield nurse then. The wristband has been replaced and the watch is not currently working. I'm sure it could be repaired

No, but it was my mom's and she told me that it was her nurse's watch.

is the watch over wound? I mean if you try to wind it does the knob stop or does it just free wind?
If you hold the winder with some pressure does the watch tick?

It appears to be working, I wound it and was able to change the time. The crystal is in great condition but it looks like the face may have something between 12 and 1. This may go away with cleaning, but I don't know.
