The chain is virtually unworn and new. My sister-in-law began collecting items in the '60's to use when she was able to live on her own. she collected materials for 40 years that filled a 10x16 storage room. Unfortunately, she passed on before she ever was able to live on her own. We inherited her storage room and now are trying to make some room in our house by selling or giving away her belongings. Most are still brand new and unused after 20-40 years in storage.
