Questions & Comments
Wow. i love this. what type of camera are u using? your pics are crystal clear. or is it special lighting. please let me know im trying so hard to get pics like this.
I'm a very simple person... and I try to keep everything simple. My pictures are no exception.
I use an old Kodak Easy Share DX4530 5MP camera. It has a close-up setting. I use Paint to edit the shots by reducing the size of the picture and crop the shot. My arrangement is especially simple... I have a large mirror from an old vanity which I lay down flat on the bed and carefully clean to remove dust particles. The item is then arranged directly on the mirror and pictures are recorded. If you look carefully in the picture, you can see the reflection of the ceiling and window frame.
Wonderful and yes very simple. im going to try that. i have a olympus 12 megapixel giving me the blues adjusting to using it. i see how lighting is very important. i make and sell jewelry and the pics need to be right for the website. thank you so much for sharing. oh yeah im watching this auction

To get to the center you have to shed a lot of tears.
My photographic hobby started 45 years ago in Jr. High School. I even went Pro for a short while, when the money was easy. Just remember that you have to look past the subject of the picture. See... and I mean really search out every little thing that could show up in your picture. Arrange your subject in such a fashion to minimize the detractors and maximize the complimentary stuff.
It takes time to learn how to see... really see in depth. Be your own worst critic as you study the finished pictures. Mark up a set of prints and learn from your mistakes. Seek out the opinion of trusted friends and true professionals.
