Waling iris start. It grows rather quickly, can be a houseplant like I have or can be put in the ground in zones that have mild winters. The start is a baby produced after it blooms and the the flower is spent. The flower only lasts one day.

Fanned and watching. Is this a walking iris because it replants itself? I would have to have it as a houseplant because I live in Oregon & we have very cold winters with snow, and ice.
