Hi, what are the black strands made of and how is the closure of the bracelet..lobster clasp or something else, also what is holding each side of the metal bar on the bracelet itself?

Closure design:lobster clasp

It appears that the metal bars on each side of the bracelet itself was crimped either by tool or machine, I added 3 more pics that reflect this....Thank you for asking : )
