This Netbook is fully functional and works. Photo is an action picture of the Netbook I took on my table. I purchased another laptop and am no longer needing this Netbook. You can load programs by Flash drive or connecting via Wireless or Ethernet. It really works!

Hello,
I am new to Listia so I am still learning how this works. I am posting a picture, be advised the Hard Drive is 144 Gb free space, it has a 10 inch screen. You need a flash drive to install programs, it currently has Firefox and IE 8 installed. You can surf the web with it via a Wireless connection. You will need to install an Antivirus program. It does have a built in Camera above the LCD screen which I activate through Windows Explorer, there may be another way, just not sure. It has a Touchpad for mouse with 2 buttons, but you can hook up an external mini mouse if you wish. Remember it is Windows XP, you will need a qualified Computer Technician to upgrade to Windows 7. The Asus currently has an image file for complete system recovery if you ever need to reset and start over, but it is Windows XP. It is a nice little computer, I just no longer need it and don't want it to sit on a shelf and go to waste.

I am sorry for the late reply, I had to work today. I am not 100% sure of the age, I have had it for 9 months and purchased it on eBay. I think, by searching on Asus Eee PC 1005HAB that on the Asus website it about 3-4 years old, I am not sure. Asus also has the User's Manual available for download.

No, not at all. You can install programs from a Flashdrive or you can download and install from the Internet. You connect via a Wireless connection so you need to have a Wireless router preferably or go to Starbucks to get free wireless access. Amazon sells an external CD-Rom drive with USB cable if you wish to run from a CD-Rom
