I picked these beautiful vintage gloves up several months ago 2nd hand. Age range I am estimating 1950's-1960's.They are white fabric (not sure what kind of fabric), and wrist length. The tag on the inside reads Elvette by Dawnelle, made in U.S.A as well as the size which is 6 1/2. After doing some research I found out the decorative stitching on most gloves produced by this manufacturer was done by hand. As you can see there is a triangle design decorative edge stitch pattern at the wrist ends of the gloves. These gloves have no stains (which is a rare thing to come by here in south FL for white gloves). Unfortunately though a few stitches have come undone where the tag is along the edge of one of the gloves (see last pic). This is an easy 5 minute hand stitch repair job with a needle and thread. They can still be worn however, with out being repaired if you decided not to repair them. If you rock a retro, pin up, or rockabilly style, instead of buying expensive poorly constructed reproduction vintage costume accessories, here is your chance to snap up the real deal vintage for really cheap! Or if you are a vintage collector or dealer these are great for you folks as well. As with all of my vintage/used items this is being sold as is.
