The listing, DELL INSPIRION 9300 LAPTOP(PLEASE READ) has ended.

Dell Inspiron 9300 fix it or use it for parts. Screen is cracked and Window try to start but soon it will change to screen in third picture. Everything worked except cracked screen before Window starting have problem.I don't have restore CD so I don't know how to fix this problem may be someone who knows about computer can maybe fix it or use as parts.This auction is for laptop only. I don't have charger for it I used my other computer charger just to show that laptop does turn on. I am not sure about battery life either.

I am not much of computer person so I honestly don't know if it is good laptop. Also as explained in description it need to be fixed. Hope this answered your question.:-)

I knew I broke the screen by closing to hard but as for window not starting properly I have no idea what happen it could be virus or I might have deleted something.

I have this model, and it runs Windows 7 (I don't know about XP, I assume XP would be faster overall) decently well. Keep in mind that although CPU upgrades for this thing are dirt cheap (under 20 dollars for a 2 GHz CPU) there never was a dual core CPU released that was compatible with this laptop. YouTube videos stutter a bit, but you'll get used to it. It plays DVDs perfectly in WMP. It can run a Nintendo 64 emulator perfectly, but can barely run a Nintendo DS emulator (to give you an idea of how powerful it is). That's with my 2 GHz CPU, and the CPU in this auction is only 1.86 GHz. Basically, if you win this you should be able to switch out the hard drive, plug in an external monitor, re-install Windows (or Linux) and use it as a netbook-like device (minus the portability). It does have both VGA-out and an s-video out, so you could easily hook this up to your TV and use it as a media player. Good luck, and just don't set your expectations too high with a laptop like this. It still does enough things well to make it worth bidding for.

good 4 parts but screen cost more then laptop is worth, this is a old xp laptop. Screen is around $100.00.
