They "eat" coins, patches and particularly pins because some sellers do not package them properly.

I have had products sent to me from companies that the machines digested. I received a padded mailer that looked like it had gone through the war zone and it was sent from South Carolina. The small sample of ladies' deodorant was *mysteriously* gone from the package too...someone at the p.o. must have had b.o......
