Please read the whole description, thank you
ok lets get one thing straight, despite the photos this comic isnt 'falling apart'.... its already fallen apart! the cover is completely seperated from the body of the book and except for two 2 inch spots will fall apart itself if care is not taken but it is not brittle! however having said that..the rest is actually nice! the colors in the book are as vibrant as when it was published over 60 years ago.not one pge is brittle but there are maybe 3 small places 1/2 inch each where wear has taken the paper along the very edge. there is a lot of wear 1.5 inchs down from the top staple but all the pages are bound together nicely and tight and if you place this in an acid free bag and back this comic will last for many more years.im not actually selling something you say is an 'investment' its in too bad shape for that but as a nice thing to have from 'the golden age of comics" yes even i would spend a few dollars if i didnt already have an extensive collection just to own something from this era that is absolutely readable! it will not fall aprt if you place the cover on a flat surface and just read the lone ranger for what it is, a great story book in comic form. the pages are very light tan and as i have said not brittle in the least, the main problem is the cover but if care is taken you can enjoy this nice still glossy book for years, even in its crappy condition!
Thanks for visiting my auction,BE SURE TO READ THE DESCRIPTION, this comic is in rough condition! Wow,whattl the bidding be like when I auction #1 and 2 from the 1940's lol?
