These are fully cut and faceted natural gem stones. Amethyst and Garnets. Shape, colour, clarity and carot vary. Between the 2 there are aproximately 13 cwt.; there are some very nice clear stones in each of these packets and the winning bid or gin is for all you see here.

no, it means they are come from fairly nice rough rock so they could be cut and shaped to show the clarity and refracted light through them.
