It can take a sim card yes I'm not sure about prepaid but I will look into that for you.

You need a phone charger and battier in order for it to work. It's brand new so yes it does work. It takes a sim card so it should do prepaid as well.

I understand how most of you feel about the phone being new with no battier or phone charger. I lost both of them a while ago. I'm sorry for that but don't say anything negative on my page please and thank you. If you are wanting the phone than bid please all negative comments will be taken off and the user will not be allowed to bid on my stuff again.
