Hey bro, I'm wondering if you have any suggestions for a quick portable knife sharpener. The stone I have is pretty large so it's not something I bring with me. All I carry with me at the moment is a small brass diamond steel Which is perfect for most occasions unless I happen to really dull my knife.

I have one at home that came with my fiancé's CUTCO knife set but it doesn't work as well as I would like.

All I have a is a Smith. And it's definitely NOT something to carry. There's also a little plastic job I have but it's just for fine tweeting. Really don't know

I'm not really worried about carrying it. I just need something that's better then the CUTCO. And sometimes I just don't feel like breaking out the stone. Is the Smith one you are talking about a pretty good sharpener?

Oh yeah. It has a rubber base, rubber grip and rough and fine sharpening. Check out Smith sharpeners.

Hey Dan. I found the perfect sharpener. It's also made by Smith. You should check it out it has awesome reviews and is cheap as hell.
