The listing, Football Rookie Card Tiered Auction has ended.

Okay this is my first tiered auction so let's go! This auction is for Football Rookies. We are starting with a 1998 Topps Finest John Avery #137 and a 1989 Pro Set Deion Sanders #486. All my cards are in excellent condition. I am starting the bidding at 500 credits. For every 500 credits I will throw in 2 more random rookies. If bidding reaches 5000 credits I'll also throw in 2 refractors. If it reaches 10000 credits I'll throw in an autographed card. Any questions feel free to ask. I'm going to list this auction for 5 days so let's see how high we can go.

Tiered auctions can be tough to pull off. It might have helped to start off with a couple current good rookies instead of 2 guys who are no longer playing. Adding the autograph was a good move but not enough to get this steamrolling. Tiered auctions featuring jerseys, autos and refractors tend to do the best. I just did a Brett Favre tiered auction and started with 7 cards including a rookie and it fizzled. Hard to understand sometimes. Usually best just to do lot auctions which I have a lot of success with. Hope that helps a little.

Yeah I see how it can be tough. I've listed a couple others and I'm planning on a bigger one in the next couple days. I just have so many cards I collected over the years that I'm out of space so I am trying to get rid of some but there are ones that are just hard for me to let go
