This type will not unravel, so while it is considered a raw edged sew on, it will not fray or unravel.

This patch is very high quality in fabric, thread and stitch count is very high.

The picture shows the patch before I cut it out., I made it as a sample for my daughters bridesmaid hoodies, they went with the hot pink, but this one is a very pretty silver grey and it is now cut out and ready to sew on most anything you prefer, from hoodies to back packs to towels.

I just realized that I don't have a pic of this patch against the inch grid, it is slightly smaller than the hot pink one, we were deciding how large to make the letters on the hoodies, so it is about three inches by 5 inches, still a very nice large sized font for most any backpack , towel or hoodie
