Oh, yes..This phone is Sprint only. Not sure if I made that part clear or not. :) You can not use any other phone service with this phone. Only Sprint.. Better do some editing! Thanks again!!

Good question and thank you for asking! I tried to answer but my comment was too long. lol I'm going to make a note in the auction for you and anyone else that may be wondering the same thing. I'm really not sure. You may want to call and ask. I know that the Sprint store here in "Hickville, USA" has the prepaid Sprint service, but we don't have the smartphone option like other places have
:-/ Online, it shows prepaid services and options but your area needs to have the smartphone option available. Sorry I can't give you a solid answer on that. There may be other options..please refer to the new note that I will add to the auction right now. Maybe it would help you and anyone else with that question a little

No ma'am. This is a Sprint phone. But, I did make a note in the auction about prepaid Sprint service and folks capable of unlocking phones. Hope that helps! :) Fan ya back!

If I can get out today, I will try to do that for you. I will just add another pic to the auction pics. But yeah, you can use the phone for internet without service from the company. You can also download text and calling apps and probably never need actual service. Just wifi :)

Cricket Wireless only cover 25 states. boost mobile also works on sprint towers

Can you use an Iphone 4 *CDMA with another carrier?
I have an Iphone 4 (not 4s) that is carrier locked and CDMA. I know I can unlock it, but will I be able to use another carrier seeing as I cannot use a SIM card?

If it makes any difference, it is an American phone that I am unlocking for the Netherlands.

I should work....... Per contract with Apple, Sprint and Verizon Iphones must be GSM locked.... when "officially" unlocked or "jailbroken" unlocked, they are still locked to the USA GSM carriers, like ATT and Tmobile... but they will work in other counties. (((this is why a Verizon/Sprint Iphone will never work on ATT/Tmobile in the USA even if GSM unlocked---just another Apple nasty low blow to customers. It only works unlocked in other countries due to possble international travels)))

It definitely won't work on Sprint (again, not because it's not
compatible, but because Sprint doesn't WANT you to use a non-Sprint
branded phone). You might get it to work on Alltel.

ok all bidders these reviews will answer your questions about any phone auction here Lilly has done a great job with this auction.
Thier are severe issues unlocking CDMA phones called bricking a [hone which means exactly that you screw it up you have STONE BRICK you can add to your house

Thanks a ton, Billy! Yes..This is a CDMA phone. It is tied to Sprint. Sprint is written on the phone. It is not a GSM phone. It has no SIM card. I posted this auction because I would lose money selling the phone to an existing Sprint customer. So, I opted to "give it away" to someone that could use it. Yes, it has wifi. That you can use without the Sprint service. There are call and text apps that you can use if you needed to. Again, it is Sprint. Like I said before.. Sprint does have a prepaid plan. You can call about the smartphone plan to see if its available in your area..Its always good to ask questions before you bid. They have been very good questions. Thanks again, Billy! :)
