Description
The listing, REPRINTED Priscilla Tatting Books 1909, 1924 has ended.
Choose 1 book. The book is not cut in half. I have to do that so it will fit on listia. I know the shipping looks high, but I am just breaking even because I laid out a bundle to get these. They are 36 pages so the postage is higher and I paid ove a hundred dollars to get a few of them. I have a lot of ladies wanting to do tatting. So I paid more than I could afford for these 3. So don't complain. Just DON'T BID. There is book #1 and book #2 from 1909 which is over a hunbdred years ago! Book #3 is only from 1924. Book 3 is only 32 pages because of eliminating blank pages but all the patterns are still there. If you win the bid you can take your choece of them. If you want more than one of them just addd $3 extra for each to the shipping price. That is the best I can do. I can't decide which I like best. They are all so good. I have other tatting books listed too. That is more tatting than you can find in almost any other place. If you are crazy about tatting look to see the others. ALL ARE REPRINTS! Pattern books get a lot of use and abuse so the originals are likely to fall apart. These are printed on better paper and will last longer than you and I. They are not stapled so you can take out the page you are using and leave the others ones in safety. If you want to staple them, go ahead.
Questions & Comments
Does 32 pages mean there are that many patterns, or about how many of them are in each?
It depend on what the item is. Some may take a whole page and som small things like edging can get a lot on a page. I took Book #1 and counted the pi8ctures of the items and there are 54. There are also 3 pages of instructions for beginners. here are two cute baby hats. I am knitting a set of baby things right now but my niece is having a baby in January so I am making it much warmer than knotted strings can be. But they are cute for pictures in the hose. There is a pattern for booties in one of the other books. They all will have about the same amount in them.
