You can pierce almost anything but when piercing the nose you need a cork inside your nose to catch the needle. if you are piercing the side you usually use a smaller needle. for the ceptum it matters what size barbell or ring you want in it. if it's your first time i would search for videos on diy piercings.

Yes but you really need a piercing clamp or some way to pull it out far enough to pierce. the pierce clamps are like forceps but with a hole in the end for the needle to go through.
