Okay, I don't know what the heck this thing is.
My best guess- is a decorative pin or brooch of some sort...maybe a pendant. Nah, a brooch (?). It was in a jewelry box with a bunch of other old jewelry items I purchased at an estate auction. I haven't looked into finding out what it is, hoping someone here can enlighten me. It's awfully pretty. In really nice shape- no rust or tarnishing of the gold tone metal. I'm tacking it up with a stickpin to photo it, but it looks like the very top loop is for "something". But what?!? Maybe just to pin it onto something, but I honestly have no clue. It doesn't look like it's missing anything...the entire piece is in great condition. Well, it obviously hangs. From something, lol. The faux pearls are nice quality, and the middle strand of clear prism beads is striking...
